Dear PICC Members and Friends,

The Philadelphia-Israel Chamber of Commerce (PICC) is now accepting nominations for its Board of Directors. New Board members will begin serving on January 1, 2027, and terms are for three years. Self-nominations are welcome and encouraged, and we also invite you to consider colleagues, partners, and fellow members who you believe would bring valuable perspective and energy to our Board.

Key Dates

  • Nomination Period: Open now through Thursday, October 15, 2026

  • Board Vote: New and renewing Board members will be voted on at the PICC Annual Meeting, to be held at 5PM on Thursday, November 12, 2026, in Center City Philadelphia (additional details will be shared later).

Who Should Be Nominated

We are seeking nominees who can demonstrate a genuine commitment to the PICC's mission: promoting business and business relationships between Israel and the greater Philadelphia region. Ideal candidates bring professional expertise, community connections, and a willingness to actively contribute their time and talents to advancing the Chamber's work. Nominees must be PICC members in good standing, including being current on their individual or corporate membership dues.

How to Submit a Nomination

Please submit the name of your nominee (or yourself) to Debbie Rosenthal at debbie@phillyisraelchamber.com by Thursday, October 15, 2026.

Once nominated, candidates will be asked to provide a business photo and a brief biography for inclusion in the materials distributed to members ahead of the Annual Meeting vote.

Board Expectations

Board members are expected to attend regular Board meetings (typically two or three per year), support the PICC's fundraising and programmatic efforts, and serve as ambassadors for the Chamber within their professional and personal networks. Specific terms of service and time commitments can be discussed with any current Board member or with Debbie.

We look forward to receiving your nominations and to welcoming new voices to our Board as the PICC continues to grow its impact across the Philadelphia and Israeli business communities.

Thank you for your continued support of the PICC.

Warm regards,

David Baker

President, Philadelphia-Israel Chamber of Commerce
