A Note from the President

As we close out the summer and PICC’s fiscal year, I want to reflect on where the Chamber stands and reaffirm the importance of the economic and social ties we continue to build between companies in Philadelphia and Israel.

It has been a very productive year. PICC is growing! We’ve substantially expanded both our corporate and individual membership, and grown our corporate membership among Israeli companies from zero to ten since the start of the calendar year—a win-win-win for PICC, for Israeli companies, and for our U.S.-based members. We are so grateful to all of our corporate and individual members and sponsors.

In 2026, increasing the number and types of PICC events has offered members more opportunities to learn, meet, and connect through a mix of live and virtual formats.

PICC continues to support the BIRD Foundation and to help local and Israeli companies pursue BIRD Foundation grants. This year, we have already supported three General and two Energy grant submissions. One of our local success stories, SpotitEarly and the University of Pennsylvania, was featured at the BIRD Foundation’s annual reception at the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C.

Given the current environment, there has never been a more important time to support business with Israel and the work PICC does engaging the companies that continue to make Israel the Start-Up Nation. Our growing membership, our deepening partnerships, and the energy of this community are proof that what we are building together matters. Thank you for being part of it.
