Two major trends defined Vered’s decade-long leadership of the PICC. First, chambers of commerce everywhere sought to redefine their purpose beyond traditional business attraction and support. Second, Israel’s innovation economy went into overdrive. Vered recognized these forces, embraced them, and worked tirelessly to pivot and adapt the chamber toward services the community most needed, and to build bridges between regional and Israeli tech.
As a believer in doing good to do well, Vered helped everyone, from innovators and researchers to entrepreneurs and other professionals. When she believed an initiative was good and right and impactful, she stopped at almost nothing to make it a reality.
For this, we award Vered with the inaugural “Sky’s the Limit" Award for tireless dedication.
